Bailey Library

To better meet accessibility requirements within the Winthrop Town Library, the client was looking to add vertical circulation throughout the building. The finished proposal features a 6 1/2' x6 1/2' elevator in the corner of the building adjacent the front lobby desk. This ensure the elevator is easy to be found and available, as well as not confining the library ceremony stairs. On the lower level this elevator would be share a wall with the mechanical rooms, ensuring the machinery has its on dedicated space in that room. The lower level egress door is located directly beside the elevator, as an accessible fire exit.
